    Hi There!

    i've recently joined Game Pass for pc but i cant download from Microsoft Store none of the games included in it cause every time i try to my downloads stuck and there's this error showing up (Code: 0x8024001E).May i have a sollution to my problem?Thanks in advance!

    Hi Victor,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand you are unable to install updates and you get a error code "0x8024001e".

    This might be caused due to following reasons:

    • Update broken.
    • Virus or malware infection.
    Please follow the steps below and check if it helps:

    • Restart the computer.
    • Open command prompt with administrator privilege
    • Windows Key + X and turn on the command line (Admin)
    • Type in the command line:

      net stop wuauserv

      rename c:\windows\SoftwareDistribution softwaredistribution.old

      net start wuauserv
    • Now restart the computer and try to install updates and check if it helps.

    Error code 0x8024001e appears whenever an application or a downloaded update fails to install. We suggest you to run the System File Checker and DISM tools to scan for any corruptions in the Windows system. Kindly click on the articles below for more information
