Windows 10: code 0xc000007b after trying to download and install the Epic Games launcher

Split from this thread. I was experiencing an error with the code 0xc000007b after trying to download and install the Epic Games launcher. I tried many solutions that I found online, but they didn't work. I got frustrated and almost did a factory reset. I decided to try all the solutions that I found one more time as a last ditch effort. Press the Windows key, type in CMD

Epic Games launcher- 0xc000007b error

I've been having an issue when trying to install Epic Games Launcher. Basically, when I open the Epic Games Installer, the loading screen gets to a certain point where DirectX and Permissions are mentioned, then asks me to allow Epic Online Services to make changes to my computer. If I click yes or no, the answer is the same- it shows the 0xc000007b error and says that the application failed to load. I've tried everything, and the fixes on Youtube are only for an already-installed Epic Games Launcher, so there aren't any fixes for my situation.

Any help would be appreciated.
