Windows 10: Code 52 for USB Mouse (Mad Catz RAT 3)

Hello! I have been receiving this annoying error readout when trying to use my gaming mouse, a Mad Catz RAT 3, with Windows 10.


Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)


This issue began after I download the mouse programming software from the Mad Catz website, since it did not automatically install when I plugged in the mouse. Shortly after booting Cyborg, the mouse went Code 52. However, I've tried multiple times to do a fresh install, deleting all drivers from the website, uninstalling the software and mouse, but the Code 52 still comes up every time.


I've tried all recommended solutions I could find, but none were permanent. Disabling driver signature enforcement worked temporarily, but after a few restarts it went back to its old tricks. It's a huge pain to fetch my BitLocker key and do a special reboot every time, so I really want a permanent solution. Please help, and thanks!

Mad Catz RAT 8 Gaming Mouse

I have a RAT 5 from this company, after a few weeks the sensor started failing, so no more Mad Catz stuff for me.

 

USB mouse registering as usb input device and mouse wont move

i have tried other usb ports it did require to install a driver when i first plugged the mouse in. The driver was made by the company mad catz and the mouse is rat 1
