    "Code Redeemed" On Microsoft Store when I never redeemed that code


    I recently tried to redeem the code for the Minecraft Windows 10 version available to those who bought the Java version before sometime in 2018. I bought mine all the way back in 2012, so that would qualify me to get it.


    After looking around online, I saw that I had to go to account.mojang.com, login, go under "games", and find the redeem code for the Windows 10 edition. I copied it and pasted it into the appropriate box in the Microsoft Store, when it told me the code had already been redeemed. If that's true, I can assure you I was not the one who redeemed it. According to the games tab on my Mojang account, it was redeemed on July 27, 2019, which was not me. No one else has access to my account legitimately, anyways, not even my family, so it could not have been them.


    Is there any way to restore function to that code or get a new one?

    Sad to say but it seems like Microsoft has not fully tested out the whole process of redeeming/checking out. Anyways, I used Firefox to log into mail and redeem the code. DID NOT USE MICROSOFT EDGE!!! Hope that helps. I've been downloading and redeeming
    codes for the .10cent sale and have not encountered any issues using alternate browser. The suggestion that Microsoft Tech gave did not work for me.

    I'm from Romania, Europe, don't know if my language will be available but i don't want it in my language, i want it in english.

    I've done both Online and Windows 10 steps from the link, but still the same error:

    Check the instructions that came with your code. You might need to redeem it on a different web page.

    I received a code for a free product for a app in the microsoft store and when I went to redeem it I received the message code already redeemed. I had just received it and just pasted it into the gift code area so how can it already be redeemed? It is
    a valid code and valid email. Can you please help me?
