Windows 10: Color issue with ET-2700 series Epson all-in-one printer

I have an ET-2700 series Epson all-in-one printer. It copies/prints red type in a faint pink color. It doesn't print black or any other color. So besides the pink on the page, the page is blank. I have cleaned the nozzle head, but nothing has changed. My ink cartridges are fine. The black ink, as one would expect, is a little lower after a month of gentle use.I read a question similar to this and the reply was, if there is nothing wrong with the above issues, it could be a hardware problem, but it didn't identify what the problem could be. Any ideas? Any 'inkling' is appreciated. N

My reading of that webpage is that, other than their {Driver-product installation software} HP Smart 117MB, you have no other choice but to download their {Software utility} HP Easy Start Printer Setup Software 9MB

• Which windows build is currently running on your computer?
• Did you make any recent software/hardware changes on your computer?

As an initial step try disconnecting the printer, uninstall Epson printer software via add/remove via control panel, reboot the PC, then go to Epson site download/install latest full version software check if it helps fixing the issue.
