    Comendeering of the F7 key

Why won't Microsoft undue the much hated F7 caret browsing pop-up? There is no **** way to disable it. It is especially annoying and detrimental when other applications utilize F7. Why don't they make it a Windows key + any other **** key besides ther F keys ?????? ****, I want my keyboard back without having to deal with a **** pop-up over my other programs that use F7. ****-Mother-**** holes.

Go ahead, ban me for being damned honest and pissed that Bill Gates thinks he owns more of my PC than I do.

    :)

    Caret browsing F7 key

The most recent update to windows forces me to answer the caret browsing question every time I press F7. I play a game that uses F7 for a critical feature. Every time I restart the game I get the same question even if I check the checkbox to remember. Is
there a way to change the behavior to ctrl-F7 or alt-F7?

Mapping this to an unmodified function key is a terrible choice. You’ve impacted a lot of software by permanently altering the behavior of a commonly used key. I’m not saying that giving an easy method of controlling caret browsing is bad, but the chosen
    implementation is unacceptable.

  3. F7 KEY

hi again, I did the troubleshoot and that did not correct it, but the windows key + P works the F7 toggling. My F5&F6 (brightness) keys also stopped. Do you have a workaround for that function?

    thank you again,

    Marc

    F7 KEY

I just had to reinstall Windows 10 and my F7 key stopped. It toggles between my laptop display and my separate monitor. Now both displays are on and I am unable to toggle between the two as I was prior to the reinstall.
