Windows 10: Command line Windows 10 1909 upgarde

Im using the line

SETUP.EXE /Auto Upgrade /showoobe none /pkey XXXX /DynamicUpdate enable /migratedrivers all /copylogs C:\Windows\Temp


To upgrade our windows 10 machines to 1909 build using the command line remotly this starts of fine, however i have a machine with Windows 10 Enterprise N 1903.

Some other are just Windows 10 Enterprise 1809, without the N.

The Ones without the N install fine, however the machine with the Windows 10 Enterprise N 1903, stops the install automatically to say its a different version to the one im looking to upgrade. And therefore can install with the files but not with Files and apps.


So my question how can i change the command line below, so it auto upgrades the N version?

SETUP.EXE /Auto Upgrade /showoobe none /pkey XXXX /DynamicUpdate enable /migratedrivers all /copylogs C:\Windows\Temp

I suggest you to run System file checker. System File checker (SFC) scan is done to check if there are any corrupted system files that could be causing this issue. Kindly follow the below given steps:

• Press Windows key + X, select
  Command prompt (Admin) to bring up elevated Command prompt.
• In Command prompt type sfc/scannow and press enter.
• Restart the computer.

If no corrupted system files were found in the previous state, then I suggest you to try the following steps:

• Open command prompt by pressing Windows key + X and selecting “Command prompt admin”.
• In command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each command:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

• Close the command prompt and restart the PC and check if it works.
