Windows 10: Computer completely reset itself

Hello, I am writing because I have a question. My computer froze and reset itself and deleted all my files. This has happened before, so I knew what to do. I reset my computer and hoped for the best. It didn't work. No matter how many times I tried, It still wouldnt go back. All my files are deleted and I have school in 2 days. How do I fix this?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

We suggest doing these troubleshooting steps below:

Method 1. Hard Reset

Method 2. Shutdown trick.

• Press Windows key.

Thank you john for all of your help i decided to get the usb my computer came with and factory reset it i didnt have anything that personal or valueable so its ok thanks for the help though i appreciate it
