Computer continues to freeze after everything i have tried

For the past 5 weeks my computer has been randomly locking up and I can’t figure out why. Mouse won’t move, nothing on my screen changes, and if I press caps lock the light does not change on keyboard. I reset my pc and ran several scans on my computer for malware so it’s not a virus or any malware. I’ve replaced the hard drive, ram, PSU, and GPU. I have also checked for overheating and I do not think it’s that as after freezing in the bios it says something around 45°C. I’ll list some of my specs belowCPU: AMD FX6300GPU: GTX 1060 6gbRAM: 2x4 DDr3, 1x8 DDr3Hard Drive: 1tb ToshibaPSU: Corsair CX650MMotherboard: not to sure as of right nowHelp would be greatly appreciated!

    :)

  2. Having trouble with klondike freezing up.

Frustrated with Solitaire Collection. Klondike continues to freeze up, but other games work well. All drivers are up to date, and have tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it. I continue to get the notification the that application is blocked from
accessing graphics. Everything is up to date on my computer. Has anyone else had this problem?

  3. I have tried everything to get Window 10 to start up and it still won't work

Hi Ted. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 8 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

To know for sure you've tried everything see this list which compiles every known fix for WIndows 10 that won't start:

    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

If nothing else helps you can run the Reset from Advanced Startup Options, if necessary from the booted media fully explained in first tutorial:

    https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2294-advanc...

If that fails then follow these illustrated steps in this link which compile the best possible Clean Install of Windows which will stay that way as long as you stick with the tools and methods given, has zero reported problems, and is better than any amount
    of money could buy:
    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

Make sure during the booted install you follow the illustrated steps to delete all partitions down to Unallocated Space to get it cleanest, then click Next to let it auto-create the needed partitions, format them and begin install - this makes it foolproof.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

When you said "I reset my PC", does that mean reinstalled Windows? I'm still concerned about overheating. You've removed the dust from CPU, power supply, fan on video card? Because it is easy to do, I'd remove half the ram and see if that helps. Finally, I'd run CHKDSK on the hard disk (chkdsk c: /f /r) and see if it finds anything. Finally (part 2 ;-), you're not overclocking are you?

I’ve reset windows and everything on it, I’ve cleaned dust off of cpu, and have replaced the video card, memory cards and power supply, have not overclocked my processor either, so basically I’ve crossed off pretty much everything except the processor and the motherboard itself

I also forgot to mention that I have also replaced my hard drive and the freezes still occur

Freezing occurs when the computer overheats. The one thing you did not try is to reapply Thermal Gel between the Heat Sync and the Processor.

What is the duration of time for the typical hang/freeze? Does it always require a power off? Are you ever able to switch into safe mode after the freeze? or clean boot after the freeze? Are you able to use windows performance recorder to monitor the computer, possibly complete a recording, and have it saved, or would you lose them having to power off? Are you watching graphs of the temperature so you can see trends?

It almost always requires turn off, safe mode solved nothing, for the most part after a freeze I am able to do a clean boot after freeze, any software gets no errors found and temperature is always under 60°C, I found one thing that fixes my problem for about 6 hours at a time, when my pc starts freezing if I open the case and push on my cpu and video card towards the motherboard it stops freezing for a long time.

I am also having this problem. It looks like a lot of other people are as well.

    Here's what I've tried:

PROPERLY cleaned dust out and re pasted thermal compound. My temps are well under dangerous. I am positive this is not heating issue (I've been dealing with this issue for a while now and am done explaining to people online how I paste a CPU. I'm doing it right).

-Reset/Rolled back BIOS(Had latest version before)

-Replaced RAM and Reinstalled windows on new SSD

    -Updated all drivers

    -Rolled back several drivers

-Many of the above actually did extend the amount of time my computer would work before crashing. Note the freezes I'm having aren't like ones I've had when a computer overheats. Audio completely cuts out instead of stuttering. I am at a loss. If anyone has had this problem PLEASE let me know.
