Windows 10: Computer crashing after connecting to the wifi

Hi,

I cant seem to find anyone who has asked this problem so thought id ask for help myself.


For a few months now, my computer has been crashing, or more rightly freezing, amd wont respond for 5-10 minutes. Then when it comes back, all the clicks and presses i hit whilst it seemed frozen quickly happen.


Ive realised the problem is way worse when im connected to the internet.


I have updated all my drivers. Run clean ware, malwarebytes, unistalled most apps with revo uninstall.


My motherboard has an LED display which always reads AO (all okay)


I originally thought my power supply might be failing but im not sure. Any help would be great.

To further assist you with your concern, we need to ask you the following questions below:

• What is the make and model of your computer?
• Is this a new computer?
• When did this issue started to happen?
• Have you done any update or upgrade on your computer before this issue started to occur?
• Do you remember installing any drivers, application, or program prior to this issue?
• Do you have any other devices connected to your Home WiFi? If there are, are there any issues with the other devices?
• What other troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

When will the wifi connectivity problems be solved?


OK, so the Windows 10 engineers bollixed up the wifi connectivity part of the operating system. Everybody knows that by now. It seems they are making some progress in resolving it. Now, instead of seeing "Secured, No Internet" on your list of wifi connections, you see "Connected, Secured" EXCEPT no webpages will load. So you really aren't connected. It does seem to be a step in the right direction. Does anybody know when they plan on a full and complete repair of this screw up of epic proportions?

You should still be able to use NavyLCDR's second step without changing the WiFi password.
