    Computer crashing /unresponsive whenever i close any sort of game.


    Whenever i launch any sort of game, whether my PC is able to run it, or not, it always crashes/is unresponsive.If I'm playing any music, or watching a video, the sound stops, but the video continues to play, and the game would freeze. The first thing id do is open task manager via the Taskbar shortcut, but when I click on Task manager, the button would just stick onto my screen, and Task manager wouldn't respond either, and neither any application, or service for that matter. When I try to reset my PC, it just doesn't, and id have to resort to a hard reset. This happens whether the game is low

    Whenever i launch any sort of game, whether my PC is able to run it, or not, it always crashes/is unresponsive.

    If I'm playing any music, or watching a video, the sound stops, but the video continues to play, and the game would freeze. I've tried running the system file checker, deleting apps, lowering my RAM usage, but it always happens. I've tried turning down the graphics of the game, but it still continues to crash when I close it. This has been happening since the 12th of august. I dont recall changing any setting, or downloading anything to make this happen? I've also deleted the games that have continued to crash, yet it still happens? any advice?

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
