Windows 10: Computer Description and Workgroup "Not Available"

Anybody know why these fields are showing as not available and why I cannot change the Domain or Workgroup?

Windows 10 Computer Description Workgroup Not Available

I'm having a weird issue here with Windows 10 Pro Network Sharing

I cannot see my own computer on a network, but I can see other computers on a network

I tried turning ON file and printer sharing, but it always reverts back and turns it off.

Also the computer description and Workgroup says its not available. I tried to change the description, but it seems like grayed out; I cannot add any description. I tried to change the Workgroup, but it doesn't do anything.

I'm logged in as Administrator, Tried rebooting, uninstalled anti Virus, enabled NetBIOS over TCP, changed account from Microsoft login to Local account. It doesn't resolves the issue. I'm not sure what am I missing here.

• Are you using home group to share files?

I suggest you to follow the methods below and check if it helps.

Method 1:

I suggest you to run Internet Connection troubleshooter.

Press Windows key + W and type troubleshooting.

Select Troubleshooting.

Select View all on the top left corner.

Click on Internet Connection .

Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.

I suggest you to run share folder troubleshooter.

Press Windows key + W and type troubleshooting.

Select Troubleshooting.

Select View all on the top left corner.

Click on share folder .

Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2:

Step 2: Start the Computer Browser service

• Type services in the search box.
• Double-click Services and Applications.
• Double-click Services.
• On the right side, right-click Computer Browser, and then click
  Start.
• Close the Computer Management window.

Switch from Homegroup to Workgroup

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• 
  Press Windows+ X, select
  System.
  
• 
  Click on Advanced System settings.
  
• 
  Under Computer Name tab click on
  change.
  
• 
  Under “Member Of” change the Workgroup name
  
• 
  Then click on OK, then when prompted
  reboot your device.
