Windows 10: computer disconnects from wifi in sleep mode

my laptop disconnects from the wi fi in sleep mode, I turned off powersave. still disconnects.

Tried unticking "Allow the computer to turn off ......" in WiFi Adapter Power Management. But no effect. WiFi still drops when computer sleeps.

This was experienced with Win 10 1709 update. So the problem continues and is not closed.

 

WIFI disconnecting

My Wifi is on, but my laptop keeps disconnecting from my wifi. also, when my laptop goes to sleep and then wakeup the wifi does not even show the list of available networks. So after switching on the airplane mode and then turning it back off, the wifi
networks are listed but either it does not connect to my network or if it does, it gets disconnected as soon as I open any tab .
I have tried troubleshooting, reinstalling wifi drivers, but nothing seems to fix it.
This started after windows updated a few weeks back.
please help

 

Wifi disconnects after Windows 10 re-awakening from "Sleep" mode

This issue could occur when the WI-FI adapter turns off to save power when the computer goes to sleep mode.

1. May I know the build version of Windows installed on your computer?
2. What is the make and the model number of your system?

I would suggest you to try the following steps and let us know the results.

Method 1: Disable device turn off during sleep mode.

1. Right Click on the start menu and select Device Manager or search and open
   
   Device Manager from the start menu.
2. Search for Network Adapters category and expand it.
3. Look for Wi-Fi drivers, right click and select Properties.
4. Select Power Management tab.
5. Uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power and click
   OK.
6. Reboot the computer and check.

Method 2: Update/Reinstall WIFI drivers.

If you still face the issue, I suggest you to update your Wi-Fi drivers
or you can also download the Wi-Fi drivers from your manufacturer and reinstall it.

If you still face the issue, reply to this post with more information.
