Windows 10: computer folder/tab missing from file explorer/network

After I recently changed router settings, I could not see any of the computers on my local network and now I cannot see the computer folder in file explorer/network. I cannot even see my own computer. My computer can be accessed by another computer on the network. How do I get it back? Thanks

You can put the files you want to share in the Shared Documents folder. Files stored in the Shared Documents folder or its subfolders are always available to other users on your computer.

Pinned & Recent Folder Missing From Explorer in Start

I understand that the quick access and recently oped files option are missing. We will assist you to resolve the issue.

I suggest you to follow the steps given below and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

• Open File explorer.
• Click on View and then Options.
• Choose Folder and search options.
• Under General Tab and under Privacy, make sure to place a check mark on Show recently used files and recently used folder in Quick access.

Explorer missing a network device


Hi,
Missing network device - EXTERNALDRIVE
Since the last Windows 10 update which I installed on Dec. 9 I am missing one devices in Explorer > Network on one of three network computers.
They are all present on the other two computers. One of these is Windows 10., the other is Vista Premium.
The complete device list under network is Frankspc, Charlottespc, and Sue_ASUS and ExternalDrive.
The missing device on the Explorer list on Frankspc is EXTERNALDRIVE. I can ping it at 192.168.1.3
Any Ideas on how to get it back in the Explorer list?
