Windows 10: Computer Freezes then Recovers when accessing certain websites

Discus and support Computer Freezes then Recovers when accessing certain websites in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; Recently my computer has been locking up when accessing certain websites but then it would recover and load the website properly about 5-10 seconds...     Computer Freezes then Recovers when accessing certain websites


    Recently my computer has been locking up when accessing certain websites but then it would recover and load the website properly about 5-10 seconds later. I don't know what could be causing the problem because running a chkdsk command in CMD says that the hard drive is okay and running my antivirus software results in no threats found. If you think you know what that problem is please let me know!

    NVIDIA GeForce GT 740

    12GB Ram

    1.79 HDD (ST2000DM001-1CH164) w/ Recovery Image

    (4) Intel Core i5-4430 CPU @ 3GHz

    Intel 8 Series/C220 Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller

    To help you better with your issue in accessing certain websites, we'd like to ask a few questions:

    • Are you getting any error messages when accessing those websites?
    • Have you made any changes to your computer settings prior to this issue?
    • Are you able to access those websites outside your network?

    Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community.

    I appreciate your efforts and time.

    • As I understand you are unable to access certain websites, what websites are you not able to access?
    • Have you logged in with a Microsoft account or a local account?
    I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

    • Network troubleshooter. Either search for it in the Search or run it by following the link below.
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/cant-connect-to-network#1TC=windows-8

    • Try a different network adapter/connection type if possible.
    • Check for Windows Updates.
    • Check for drivers for the network adapter.
    • Open a CMD window as Administrator:
      • dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
      • sfc /scannow
      • netsh winsock reset
    Also try to restart the DNS service.

    • Press Windows Logo Key+X. Click on Run.
    • Type services.msc. Click on Ok.
    • Then find DNS client. Right-click on it to Stop it and Restart it.
