Windows 10: Computer Hard Freezes when idle

So, this issue occurred when my mother was using the computer while a game was saving. She told me that it shut off by itself, and saying that it turned black and rebooted. So, the main reason that's going on is that I've been experiencing my computer hard freezing when I don't touch my computer or when it goes idle. It freezes and I then have to hard reset it for it to come back on, or it resets by itself for 10 minutes and then it just comes back on regularly without anything popping up stating the issue. I've factory reset the computer twice, it stopped freezing for 2 days and then it started to re-occur again, I've ran the automatic startup repair, that worked for a day, I've installed a program called "WhoCrashed," and it says this as the dump file: crash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\121518-39328-01.dmp

I've searched up this issue and it seems that everyone deals with this issue when they updated their computers to Windows 10, but that's totally not the issue for me. I've checked my computer hardware, and nothing smells burnt nor looks out place. Besides that issue, everything works perfectly fine. It's just that it hard freezes constantly.

Hard freezing on idle


Ok so this is unbearable.My laptop freezes on idle in a few minutes,abd needs to be restarted. I tried fresh clean feature but it either freezes or doesnt work. I tried istalling one from the media thing and still it froze.I tried reseting the pc and it cant move past 1%. Is it something with hard drive ? I am becoming frustrated guys !

 

Computer freezes when idle

I started having this freezing issue about 3 months ago and is quite annoying. Whenever my computer is on idle from anywhere from 5 minutes to 14 hours my computer has a chance that it will freeze. Happened before Windows 10 and also with my original Windows
7 copy and reinstalled Windows 7.

 

Computer Hard Freezes Randomly - No Error logs or Memory dumps


I posted on Sevenforums a few days ago regarding this issue:

I was suggested to check for temps (all were normal) and perform a clean install of Windows 10 (I had upgraded from Windows 7). I had another hard freeze today similar to the ones I was having before. The issue is back and I'm unsure of what to do next. Is this no longer a software issue if reinstalling the OS was unsuccessful?
