Windows 10: Computer is reading usb for the os

Ive already found the solution to this it was simply taking out the usb but when i attempt to wxtract files to the usb my CPU or my disc sometimes both shoot to the 60-100 range. When i restart my computer with the usb in it it starts up on a black screen with grey texts telling me to "remove any driver that doesn't have an OS"

Im sure its my fault this is happening and i have a pretty good idea of what it might be but i just wanna see what yall say about it cause im curious.

Help...asus bw-12b1st will not read blu-ray dvd

I bought an ASUS BW-12B1ST Blu-ray writer...installed and it didnt read ANY dvd...deleted from devices and restarted...it then played dvd's but NOT Blu-ray dvd...it lists as BD player under Computer...I run ANY DVD HD and it recognizes it as a blu-ray writer, but no play...OS is VISTA. Suggestions??

To assist you better, I would like to ask if the system is able to detect other USB devices.

I suggest you to update the USB drivers by following the steps provided below:

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Universal Serial Bus Controller.
• Right click on the drive, select Update Driver Software and follow the on-screen prompts.

USB Port Oddities


Ok, let's see it with pictures step-by-step. First right-click on the USB device and select Update driver software:





Then select Browse my computer for driver software (LAST option) :





The select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer (LAST option) :





Then select the standard driver from the list and click next:





Click next/OK as required to complete installation. Repeat the steps for all Intel USB devices. Finally click on each USB root device and press DEL to delete it, reply YES when asked. After deleting all USB root devices restart the computer.
