Windows 10: Computer problem

Hello, i just want to ask.


My laptop is Asus vivobook i5


A couple of weeks ago. While using my laptop, a bluescreen appears and restart my computer. After that, the computer was stuck on automatic repair. Then i let my IT cousin fix it. He said it was because i always turnoff my pc before a update was completed.


After that, he reboot my pc. Then i thought its already fixed but when i used it many problems occurs..


1. I cant connect to the internet

2.there is no sound

3.my laptop slows down

4.i cant access windows store

5.i cant access windows defender

6. My Nvidia GPU dont show up when you right click the mouse, only the intel one can be seen

7 i cant refresh my pc to restart the windows os, because it says that there is problem.


This are the problems that i am aware of.


What do you think is the problem?


In a couple of days, i plan to give it to asus service center to repair it, so i want to know if there is a way to repair it without that because it will definitely cost me a lot.

Need some advice on computer problems.

Run HDtune (free version) on you hard drive. but most likely that the problem. You can also test your memory with Memtest86 as suggested above

Sixth rule: Build it.

You are on rule/step 1. Go through the list until you're done.

 

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
