    Computer randomly shuts down - have to do a hard reset to be able to restart it


    Hi everyone,


    Here are the data I got form my computer. Can anybody tell me if one of these tells me that there was an shut down. And what I need to do about this reoccurring problem.

    Random shut down and restart??

    Computer: Intel (R) Pentium (R) Dual cpu
    E220@2.406hz
    2.42 GHZ, 2.00 GB of RAM
    Windows xp

    Ever since I replaced the fan (with heat sink) the computer has randomly shut down and then restarted, at first during streaming, and now, will shut down and restart anytime. I tried to replace the graphics card to no avail. *Confused Computer randomly shuts down - have to do a hard reset to be able to restart it :confused:*Mad Computer randomly shuts down - have to do a hard reset to be able to restart it :mad:

    One suggestion was to replace the RAM.

    Any suggestions on how to repair my computer?

    Computer restarting itself no bsod or windows debug files made

    hard resets = hardware problem
    blue screens are good, computer randomly shutting down or restarting without a error . very bad

    Hello, all

    I have an HTC8X with AT&T. For the past few days, I have noticed that it has randomly been restarting on me. It never restarts when I'm using it, just when idle. I've tried disabling some things as suggested by other people, and I even did a hard reset
    last night, but that hasn't seemed to work. Is there anything else I can do to stop this?
