    Computer rebooting

I was trying to download the windows 10 japanese language so i could type in japanese. During its installation the computer started to go buggy so i tried to restart it. It got stuck on the "getting windows ready" page, i waited for about an hour, but it didnt change. I decided to press the power button down for 30 seconds to reset it, but now its just in a loop of turning on and off? Help? this is my only computer and i need it for school.

    :)

    Windows 10 endless loop reboot

    Hi,

    • Have you checked if the hard disk is set as first boot device in the BIOS?
    • Which version of Windows is installed on the computer?
    • What did the HP supported suggested you to fix the issue?

I suggest you to follow the steps provided in the following article and check if it helps.

    Windows 10 endless loop reboot

If the issue persists, please get back to us with the more information about the interaction with HP support and the outcome of the issue.

Computer Won't Reboot - AMD Data Change...Updata New Data to DMI

If he is getting stuck at verifying DMI pool data, that means his BIOS isn't finishing the POST process before it's hanging up. Although I'm confused now because he said he tried re-installing windows which would indicate that the machine is getting through the entire POST process.

I'm confused now. I think we need a better, more descriptive version of what exactly is happening.

Maybe a full step by step process of what is happening?

No more touchpad for my laptop since upgrading to Windows 10

    Hi Derek,

I would suggest the following steps :

    • Press Windows + X
    • Click on Device Manager
    • Right click on TouchPad drivers in the list.
    • Choose Upgrade Drivers
    • Reboot computer

Check if this helped to fix the issue.
