Windows 10: Computer restarting randomly

This might be one of the shortest messages I'll write for a computer problem I've ever had. I literally don't have a clue what's going on. I have varying times I'm on the computer. I think it takes longer for me to scan the computer with two programs Windows Security and SuperAntiSpyware + defragging versus the actual times I'm on the computer. Anyway, the computer will randomly restart. It's not like I've got 50 windows open. Not like I've been sitting at the computer for 12 hours straight and it does it. Not like it does it everyday or every 15 minutes. It randomly does it. But it's aggravating when it does do it, ya know? I'd hate to be doing something important and the thing restarts by itself. I've been trying to fix this myself and I'm just at a loss. The only warning I'm seeing is Event 10016, Distributed COM error and I've seen where people say that wouldn't cause a computer to just randomly restart. I've turned off fast start up because I saw where people thought that was causing a problem. And I honestly thought that had solved it and then it started up again.

Nothing pops up before it restarts and no errors pop up after the computer is restarted. Truth be told, I honestly thought the computer was restarting for updates when this first started happening. I'm hoping it's something I can fix through programs versus the computer being shot* or needing to get to the guts of the computer to replace something because I literally don't have a way to do that.

*This is honestly the only problem I'm having with the computer. It doesn't freeze up or go as slow as molasses so I'm honestly just confused why this is happening. Can somebody please help me? Thank you for any and all replies. :

Random shut down and restart??

Computer: Intel (R) Pentium (R) Dual cpu
E220@2.406hz
2.42 GHZ, 2.00 GB of RAM
Windows xp

Ever since I replaced the fan (with heat sink) the computer has randomly shut down and then restarted, at first during streaming, and now, will shut down and restart anytime. I tried to replace the graphics card to no avail. *Confused *Mad

One suggestion was to replace the RAM.

Any suggestions on how to repair my computer?
