Windows 10: Computer restarts when left idle/untouched for 5 minutes

Yesterday, my computer restarted itself when I left it idle to eat dinner. It happened again when I took a shower. Today, it's happened around 4 times. When I try to put my computer to sleep, it does the same thing and restarts itself. My power & sleep settings are set to never so I'm confused on why this is happening. I've also updated my Windows and checked for malware but nothing came up.


Any idea what the issue could be or how to fix?

Windows freezes when left idle

Hi. I just wanna ask why does my laptop freezes when i left it idle? It's just randomly freezes and restart then when i left it untouch it's frozen again. Imusing windows 10 1709

 

Windows 10 restarts after idle for 5 minutes

Windows 10 keeps restarting after it is idle for around 5 minutes or so. After rebooting there is a notification for me to sign into my Microsoft account.

I have attempted all of the different power settings and noticed no change, but If I manually put the computer into sleep mode it does not restart.

I have been using Windows 10 for the past year or so with no issues up until its last update on 3/14, which states was installed succesfully.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Computer randomly sleeps, high cpu after 5 minutes idle


Earlier today I was downloading files from my browser and my computer went to sleep halfway in. This random sleeping happens occasionally. The event viewer doesn't mention anything about overheating, it always says it's just idle (event 42):

Sometimes it goes to sleep even while my mouse is moving, gives the same reason.

Another issue is my cpu starts acting up after sitting 5 minutes idle, happens every single time.



I made a thread about this a few months ago. I thought I found the answer but I didn't. Seems to be related to 'System and compressed memory'.
