Windows 10: Computer runs very slow until I install daily security update

Hello all,


I have been having issues with my Surface Book 2 since purchase, I have troubleshooted it with their service department and got it working fine continuously for about a month. However I am back at the point where the whole system lags however I have finally figured out at least what I think is causing the problem. It seems that everyday when I first boot up my computer, it runs slow until I install the newest version of the Windows Security update...and then later on the in the day (although this happens less often) I have to install some .Net Framework update. Can anyone explain why there are so many updates? I am fine installing them and am at least happy that I know what is triggering the lag but is frustrating when I have to go through this process so often.

  What makes you think that system is running slow? Is it when you are trying to run application?

From the screenshot that you have provided, I understood that it’s not the issue with the disk usage. The slowness might be due to the memory usage.

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to run maintenance task and check if it helps.

  Select Control panel and Select System and Security.
  
• 
  Click on Troubleshoot common computer problems under System and maintenance.

Insurgency wont install and run for me....

I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

Any ideas?
