  1. Computer showing the wrong time

I've looked around google a bit and my settings and still have no answer to my problem. For some reason, my time is 7pm right now pacific standard time. It says that everywhere in my house and on google. But, my computer says its 10pm pacific standard time. Meaning it's 3 hours ahead on my time zone. Which makes no sense. One fix I did was put my computer into a time zone that is 3 hours behind by my computers "time standards". But, when I shut down or restart, it defaults back to 3 hours ahead. I have no clue how to fix it and need help.

    :)

  2. Shows the wrong time

    Hi Jonas,

If you live in a region that does not observe daylight saving time (DST), but the Windows setting for that time zone
does adjust for daylight saving time, we recommend that you do not clear the
Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Saving Time check box in the
Time Zone Settings dialog box. Instead, we suggest that you select a time zone that does not observe daylight saving time and that has the same Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) offset as the current time zone.

For example, assume that your current time zone is (UTC-06:00) Central Time (US and Canada). There are two time zones that do not observe daylight saving time and that have the same UTC offset (-06:00):

    • (UTC-06:00) Central America
    • (UTC-06:00) Saskatchewan

To change your time zone setting, follow these steps:

    • In Control Panel, click Clock, Language, and Region.
    • Click Change the time zone.
    • In the Time Zone area of the Date and Time
dialog box, click Change time zone.
    • In the Time zone list, select a time zone that does not observe daylight saving time and has the same UTC offset as your current time zone.
    • Click OK.
    • Click Apply, and then click OK.

Let us know how it goes.

Date and Time is right but wrong

    Hi Joshua,

Thank you for keeping us posted.

    - Do you have a different computer set up with your Microsoft account?

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to try the troubleshooting steps suggested by Andre Da Costa on
How to troubleshoot Product Activation in Windows 10

I would also suggest you to manually set up your computer to synchronize with Windows time by following the steps below:

    1. Type "date and time" in the search bar and open it.

    2. Click on "internet time" tab.

    3. Click on "change settings".

    4. Check "synchronize with an internet time server"

    5. Under server, select time.windows.com
    from the drop down list.

    6. Click on "update now" and click
    ok.

    7. Restart your computer and check if the issue persists.

Also make sure the time zone is set correctly by following the steps below:

    1. Press Windows key + I

    2. Click on "time and language".

    3. Click on "date and time"

    4. Choose the appropriate time zone from the drop down list.

    Let us know the result.
