  1. Computer shuts off then will turn on right after

    Hi,

I recently upgraded my computer. I replaced all parts except my GPU and the case. The issue I have is my computer will shut off and turn back on. I did the rebuild about 3 weeks ago. There are days where it won't shut down at all, then there are times it will shut off multiple times within a few hours.

My first thought was the PSU. I ordered another PSU, plugged that in. Still had the shut downs.

It's a new build so I've been monitoring temperatures closely. It's not overheating.

I've ran tests on my RAM, no issues there.

I've ran chkdsk, no issues as well. I've also done a clean install of windows, twice actually. I ordered a NVME SSD card and that's where my os is currently. All drivers are up to date as well.

    I've ran system file checker.

I've gone through device manager and all components are functioning properly.

I've even bought a new power surge and tried different outlets.

I'm running out of troubleshooting options so figured I'd ask here and see what help I can get.

    Specs:

    ASRock B550m Pro4

    AMD Ryzen 5 3600

    MSI Radeon RX 570

    Corsair Vengeance LPX 8gb DDR4-3600 x2

    Corsair CV 650W

Inland Premium 1tb SSD 3D NAND

As for event viewer, there's quite a bit of errors in there. I'm not 100% sure these are related to the actual shut down but these have popped up during the shut down time frames.

Computer is shutting down immediately after turning it on?

This has started to happen recently and I'm worried. It does not happen always but this week it happened more often. Basically when I am turning my computer on, after a beep it's shutting down. With the second time it turns on and it does not list that my computer shut down suddenly, so to get me into safe mode, etc. but it boots normally.

I am not sure what the problem is. I removed an additional small fan I had, since I always had it there in the usb, so I thought it could be causing it, but I removed it. I decided to replace my power adapter, since other times I had problem with that & usually they are heating a lot. I bought a cheaper adapter & still the same. I also noticed that this problem usually happens when I turn on my computer after hours. I tried to turn on/turn off my computer between minutes and it did not happen.

Could it be dust? The CPU? I just hope there isn't any problem with the motherboard.

Computer won't turn on/shutting off randomly

So ever since I updated operating system to Windows 10, my HP Pavilion computer has been shutting down with no warning. And now my computer won't even turn on.

My desktop does not overheat, the CPU and the Memory does not go over 50%, have not installed any new programs since we've been using Windows 10.

Right when I try to turn the computer on it goes to the HP logo screen and it turns off automatically.

I am quite frustrated so if you have any suggestions that would be great.

    Thanks, Enoc

Computer shuts off then will turn on right after

I don't have any bluetooth devices but windows turned it on!!

Then if they are still on, try some of these steps listed below, Not all of these steps may not apply, but, step #2 and #4 should help. I have all 4 steps on myself.

1 Go to Device manager and DISABLE Bluetooth, Do Not remove!
    2 Turn USB suspend off
3 Set Hard Drive or SSD to Never
4 Turn Link State Power Management off
Settings 2 thur 4 can be found in your Power Management Settings.
Then click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable"
Then Reboot your Computer. This does work, may come back if you shut OFF your computer, then turn it back on, if it does, just a reboot will turn it off again.
