  1. Computer thinks that the last key pressed is being held down

    Hi there,

I'm having an issue where every now and then when I press a key, if it is not interrupted with another key press the last key will continue on a though pressed.

For instance, ending this sentence with a period and having this occur would look like this.................................................................................................

until interrupted by pressing a new entry key.

I'm running Windows 10 on a 17" Lenovo Legion (laptop, so not a separate keyboard issue)

It's really infrequent and generally only a little annoying but can be particularly annoying if the last key I pressed while typing something is the Backspace or Delete key.

Has anyone else ran into this problem? Any thoughts on how to fix this?

    Thanks!

    :)

Key press beeps go funny if a key is held down (E71)

    Hi everyone,

Has anyone else noticed that the beeps produced by pressing a key go a bit funny if a key is held down for a few seconds to make it beep repidly?

If I'm scrolling down a long list of files, the key beeps change to what is almost a double beep, then if I do it again theres a click and it all goes back to normal.

I don't think this is a hardware fault, as its never been dropped, has done this since day one, and only happens if I hold a key down as opposed to pressing it quickly.

    Anyone else noticed this?

    Paul

Computer thinks that the last key pressed is being held down

    Booting without press any key

@dhievm go ahead and list the model number that gives exact specs/info.

Does it stop right at the Toshiba logo and sit there? Will it sit forever til you press a key, or will it eventually work after so long?
