Windows 10: Computer Windows 10 does not start properly?

Hey, the computer was a little overloaded. So I shut it down. Now it won't boot up, it'll just load. What can I do. Is this the safe mode or what? Please I have to send something for school.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

No start key - taskbar does not respond to R mouse click + no edge ico


After reading all of the possible steps to fix what appears to be a common situation in Windows 10. I find that none of them work. My computer has all the signs and symptoms as described.
Does anyone have a solution to this or is it as suggested just format the hard disk and start again.
