Windows 10: computer windows 10 is not sending correct info to printer

My computer is not sending the correct info to my printer. Windows 10. The printer is working well scan & copy etc BUT it will not print in colour - it seems to be stuck on black only. It is fine copying a coloured photo. The cartridge is new. It could be easy to fix?Help!

Step 1: I suggest you to update the drivers for printer and check.

  Right click on the Start button from the desktop and select

Step 2: I suggest you to run the printer troubleshooter from

What and all steps have you tried so far?

Restart the computer and check.

Also, check for Windows updates.

I suggest you to run the Printer Troubleshooter and check if it helps.

  In Search window type Troubleshooting and click on it to open it.

  Then click on Printer to run the troubleshooter. Follow onscreen steps.
