Windows 10: Computer won't start after deleting AC adapter driver

My Legion Y530 was having issues with the battery (it wasn’t charging when plugged in, and was constantly on 0%) so I followed an online tutorial that instructed me to unistall both of the battery drivers (the ac adapter and the acpi compliant one)

Without really thinking about it I proceeded to uninstall said drivers and my laptop instantly died. In hindsight seeing as it was solely relying on the ac adapter for life, it probably wasn’t wise to uninstall that.

Now, when I boot the pc, this is what happens:

What can I do to solve this? Will I need to take it to a specialist? Or can I even solve it myself?

Note I have little experience dealing with issues in windows, and have never opened up the internals of my laptop.

Thank you, gave it a try following your tips but no change, still does not power up.

My power source never had a loose contact problem before. Really, all these problems started after deleting the AC adapter.

Any other suggestions?

Wake up from sleep with Microsoft AC Adapter

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community, we appreciate your interest in Windows 10.

I understand your concern to restart the laptop from sleep mode when connected to AC power adapter.

Please be informed us if you are facing any problem with while waking the computer from sleep mode.

I suggest you to update the drivers for AC power adapter from
Device Manager and check if it helps.

Steps :

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand AC Power Adapter.
• Right on the W and click on Update driver software.

If the drivers are updated, you will not have the option to Update Driver Software.

Step 2: If that does not fix the issue, please reinstall the display adapter drivers.

• 
  Right click on the Start button from the desktop and select
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Locate and expand Display adapter.
  
• 
  Right-click on the Display adapter
  that is listed and click “Uninstall”.
  

Restart the computer and download, install the latest drivers from the NVIDIA website.

Try this:

Disconnect all power sources - AC and battery
Press and hold the power button for 2 full minutes

Connect AC power only

You should be able to power up. Windows might not start because of the accidental deletion of the AC adapter driver
but the machine should at least boot to firmware (BIOS)

If the box won't start at all, then I suspect a bad AC adapter - probably causing the charging issue as well.
HP has a recall on some adapters - the power cord is replaced free of charge on ones that qualify.
that's besides the point though

It's also possible that the AC connector on the board is faulty - not much you can do about that.
An easy connector test is to very gently wiggle it.

See where you get with those suggestions
