Windows 10: Computer Won't Start Until Motherboard Power Button Pressed

ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 motherboard. I wonder what I did to deserve this. I can't afford replacement parts or a new machine, so stuck in the stone age I guess. It would be nice, however, if the case power button worked like it always has in the past. Picture of machine attached.

This solution did not solve my problem since my computer won´t power up at all. it is as if the computer is completely dead and I have tried different outlets that work for other computers but it still won´t power up.

Is my motherboard broken?

Computer doesn't start!

Hi, I recently bought a new case, PSU and CPU cooling for my system. Now I have mounted everything, and I plug in the power cable to the PSU. Some lights are being turned on on the motherboard, but when I press the power button on the case, the computer doesn't start. I have double checked that the cable for the power button is correctly connected to the mobo, and I have also tried to press the power button on the mobo, but the computer still doesn't start. Anyone knows what's wrong?
