My GL752VW Asus Rog laptop used to have amazing audio volume. I could hear fine on level 4. Now, I have to have it on max with a volume booster app on chrome just to hear Netflix. It is terrible. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, updating the drivers, using a different driver altogether (didn't work). Nothing has fixed it, but I know it isn't my speakers because, for whatever reason, when I test the speakers, they go full volume. Something is seriously wrong with the software, I think. Please help.

    :)

    Conexant SmartAudio HD

I am on a Asus X540YA Laptop, running windows 10 64-bit, it runs the Conexant SmartAudio HD driver and I am wondering why in the audio enhancements tab I only see this... three options, it's missing the equalizer, loudness equalization, and other options,
how do I get these back, or will I be stuck with these options?...

How do I keep windows from installing Conexant SmartAudio HD drivers?

The sound on my laptop works fine, the only problem is that I think Conexant SmartAudio HD audio driver is garbage and I can't get rid of it. I'd rather have windows high definition audio device, but no matter how many times I uninstall Conexant SmartAudio
HD and have it replaced with windows high definition audio device, Conexant drivers will either randomly install or they will be installed again after I turn on my computer next time. How do I get rid of Conexant SmartAudio HD for good?
