  1. Conexant SmartAudio Service unable to start

I have a Lenovo G50 PC running Windows 10. It unexpectedly stopped playing audio. I have tried reinstalling both the RealTek audio drivers and the Conexant SmartAudio driver, but the problem still persists.

The status of the sound device, Conexant SmartAudio HD, is "okay", but when trying to run the Conexant SmartAudio service from services.msc, I get Error 2, the file could not be found. The other audio device shown in device manager, RealTek audio, displays an error in the device management tab, this time Error 10.

What can I do to fix this problem? Is there something wrong with the underlying hardware component?

    :)

  3. Conexant SmartAudio HD and Windows 10 no sound

    1. Device manager

    2. Sound, video and game controllers

    3. Right-click on the "Conexant SmartAudio" driver
    4. Click on properties

    5. Click on the driver tab

    6. Click on "Update Driver..."

    7. Click on "Browse my computer..."

    8. Click on "Let me pick from a list..."

    9. You should see "High Definition Audio Device" in the list.

Conexant SmartAudio Service unable to start

    Conexant SmartAudio

    windows-10 Pro, 1803, build 17134.228,

I have been having problems with HDMI audio to a Samsung-TV for a few weeks. Video works...

I do not remember my trail, but I recall some issues with the audio and then it worked for weeks and now in trouble again.

Is the Conexant SmartAudio products still supported, if not what replaces it?
