    Confused abot Avira antivurus Prime


    Decided to browse around for different antivirus programs. I noticed ESET got the antivirus and Firewall built into it's program. Avira Prime got a 3-month free trial so I done some digging. Avira Prime claims to have a firewall protection but according to reviews, when you click on it to modify, it actually opens Windows 10 Firewall. I find that very strange for the price of the Prime package compared to the ESET Internet Security package.
    Anyone here to shed some light on this for me?

    Avira Antivirus

    Windows cannot send updates due to Avira Antivirus (not Aviva) - they suggest uninstalling Avira but it is not listed and I am not aware that I ever downloaded it. Presume its some sort of malware - any suggestions please if anyone has had the same problem

    marsmimar's suggestion, based on that of others, is a very good step to take.

    *Arrow If the problem still remains, then, your best bet is to go to the Avira support forum. Avira is the best source to solve this issue. It IS their program, they know best what problems exist, and they are the ones who can actually do something about it!

    and this BIG is also on the PREMIUM customers
    and this is a very AVIRA'S SHAME
