Windows 10: Connect Minecraft Windows 10 to Playstation Network?

Hello, I have the following problem:

I would like to play with a friend on a Minecraft server.

So far, it's always worked because he did it on his cell phone.

But now he wants to switch to a PlayStation Vita.

But he can't log in with an Xbox account and I can't log in to Minecraft Windows 10 with a Playstation Network account.

Is there still a way we can play together like this?

Refer the steps below to run a Home group troubleshooter and check if the issue is resolved.

  Type “Troubleshooting” in search bar.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click on “Network and Internet”,
  
• 
  Select “Home Group”.‌ (You might be asked for an admin password or to confirm your choice)
  
• 
  Click on “Next”, and then follow the instructions on your screen.
  

As you have mentioned that you are able to share files and folder to other computers as well as Play station 3 provided in a default folder. I would suggest you to be in touch with Play station support.

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server
