Windows 10: Connecting beats solo3 to windows 10 issues

I have been trying to connect my beats solo3 via bluetooth to windows 10 for a while now but I keep getting the same results, it jst shows a message that says "could not connect". I used to be able to connect them when I first bought them and so the headphones appear as "paired" in my computer. I have tried to remove the headphones from all the other devices I have connected them to but it did not work either. I also tried to remove the device from my computer, so I could pair the headphones again. What happened then was that the headphones would not appear in the "Settings>Bluetooth and other devices>Add a device" menu, and after a while, the headphones would appear as paired again even though I had not paired them and I had removed them. I really don't know what to try next so any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks :

Beats Solo3 Wireless problem

Hello,

I have a brand new pair of Beats Solo3 wireless headphones. I am able to connect them to my laptop via Bluetooth, but my computer still shows that the sound is coming from the laptop speakers. In addition, when I go to 'manage audio devices' on the control
panel, it shows that my headphones aren't connected, in contrast with what setting says. Is there any way to remedy this?

Beats Solo 3 and Microsoft Surface Laptop

• I reset the beats headphones, reset my bluetooth on my pc, updated software on beats solo3, deleted and re-added the beats on my pc
• Microsoft Surface Laptop, Intel Core I7, 16gb Ram, 1TB Storage
• No error messages, just disconnections and reconnections.

Windows 8 to Windows 10 Beat audio issues

Before assisting further, I would like to ask you few questions:

• 
  Are you using Beats audio app or a software?
  
• 
  Do you have Windows 10 Beats Audio drivers?
  

Method 1: If you are unable to find Beats audio App on Windows 10, I suggest you to download the app from Windows Store and check if the issue is resolved.



If it’s a software, I suggest you to download the latest Beats audio software from the manufacture’s website and check if the issue is resolved.



Method 2: You can also run the software in compatibility mode by following the steps from the link below.



Compatibility mode runs the program in the current version of Windows using the settings from previous version of Windows.

  Download the latest driver setup file from the manufacturer’s website.
  
• 
  Right-click on the driver setup file and click on
  properties.
  
• 
  Click on the compatibility tab, check the box
  Run this program in compatibility mode for, select Windows 10 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done,
  restart the computer and check if the changes are effective.
