  1. Connection to networked computer works briefly, then unable to connect and "access denied"

    I have a Brother MFC-7340 printer physically connected to my computer and have it shared so my wife can print to it from hers. Both of us have Window 10. She connects to my computer via wi-fi. Everything has worked fine for a long time a year maybe and nothing has recently changed except that we have a new ISP and hence a new router.

    Suddenly, she can't print. We get various messages including "unable to connect" and "access denied."

    The bizarre thing is this: If I uninstall the printer from her computer and reinstall it, everything works fine briefly. The test page at the end of the installation wizard prints and she can print documents as usual. But this only last for a few minutes...definitely less than an hour.

    Given this, the usual advice about checking that sharing is set up correctly isn't relevant. It must be okay for even a single document to print. The question is: What makes itstop working?

    :)

    Connecting computer with no internet connection to network printer

    @dk1971
    1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig

      Connection to networked computer works briefly, then unable to connect and "access denied" [IMG]
    2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
      Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
      NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank

  3. Losing network connection

    Hello Dear, if you have a laptop or a PC with a wireless network adapter, you can see a list of available wireless networks and then connect to one of those networks. The wireless networks will only appear if your PC has a wireless network adapter installed, the adapter is turned on, and the wireless access point is in range.

    1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

    2. In the left pane, under Network Tasks, click View available wireless networks.
    In case, If you don't see the network you want to connect to, click Refresh network list. If you see the network but the signal is weak, move the PC closer to the wireless router.

    3. Click the network you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

    4. If you're connecting to a secure network, type the security key, and then click OK.

    I Hope you solve out your query soon.

    Access Denied; Unable to connect

    I am getting an error when trying to connect to a network printer. Access denied; unable to connect. I am using Windows 10. This seems to happen when there is an update to install or after an update has installed.
