Windows 10: consecutive install fails error-0x800f0991 when attempting to install windows 11 insider...

have tried using the 'retry' option several times, and attempted to install again after system reboot, all to no avail, any suggestions?current system info:system is a HP ENVY Desktop 795-00xx and also running an EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660ti XC Black Gaming 6GB GDDR6 GPU,Main Storage is a WD Black SN770 NVMe 1TB M2 SSD, secondary is a WD Blue SA510 2.5" 1TB Sata SSD, third internal is a PNY CS900 1TB 2.5 Sata SSD, and also running five other external HDD's 2x 2TB, 2x 1TB, and 1X500GB all externals are standard 2.5" platter type HDD's, also I have 56GB DDR4 Ram installed, and im running a 70

tried all the steps with no resolution to the failed install error 0x800f0991.

any other suggestions?

Good morning David.

I've tried all the steps that you suggested that I do, but still no positive results. I even initiated to create the CBS.log (attached). After restarting, it still continued to fail. Now it has an error of 0X800F0991. Windows update also is listing a download for a 23H2, which is NOT my system. I have a 22H2. So needless to say, this has become very frustrating to say the least.

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
