    Can anyone help with this? I have already tried dozens of possible solutions but none have made any difference. From the moment I turn this laptop on it operates with 100% disk usage at pretty much all times. Its usable, I'm still able to use the laptop, but it takes a good 5 minutes to turn on and is initially very sluggish when opening programs after start-up which might be related.

    100% DISK USAGE

    in safe mode, there was still lag and the memory usage in taskbar showed a constant 27%.in normal mode,the memory usage is around 50% constant and disk 100%.
