Windows 10: Constant appearing and disappearing port error message

I started getting annoying notification popping up over and over again on my computer yesterday. It said something about a USB device not being recognized but there was nothing plugged in so I just turned off the notifications. Now, I just hear this constant notification sound every 30 seconds. I opened device manager and I can see an error message under the Universal Serial Bus controllers that keeps popping up and going away with the sounds saying "Unkown USB Device Port Failed" but it goes away as quickly as it shows up. I ran Malwarebytes on my computer and there were no hits. I also fou

Constant script errors and slow loading pages in 10 internet explorer 11

I have done the steps listed above. They have not helped and I am still getting constant script errors, along with slow loading pages. Are there any other suggestions?

 

Error Message Appearing at Random

I went to the referenced site. I don't see anything there about getting rid of this problem. It is baffling me. I have been paying attention to when it pops up for months. I don't notice any trigger or program I use that prompts the message.



System owns the directory and I'm not comfortable messing with permissions when System is the owner. Any suggestions about how to stop this annoying message?

 

Windows Update Error Message 0x80070543


Ya Ya Ya, there's over a hundred threads like this, ...

Anyway, started getting this error message a few days ago, and done a lot of searching on this error message, apparently it's not, uncommon.

In particular, the (currently) 4 updates that are being affected are:

• Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3173428) - Error 0x80070543
• Security Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3172729) - Error 0x80070543
• Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3174060) - Error 0x80070543
• Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3176493) - Error 0x80070543

The actions I've taken to date are:

1. Uninstalled firewall program (comodo)
2. Uninstalled anti-virus (Avast)
3. Reset the windows update catalog on local machine.

So the above errors are with the above done.

What other steps should I be taking to resolve the issue?
