    Constant BSOD with different error messages even after doing a System Reset

    Hi all.

    I have been suffering from several BSODs for over a year in my laptop. The error message keeps changing, and sometimes I can get 3 or 4 blue screens a day. A few weeks back I did a system reset hoping it would fix these errors, but they keep happening. I already asked this question but no one answered and I really need to fix this

    They mostly happen while I'm playing games, and some games seem more prone to errors than others. There are some games I can't even play, and others I can play with zero problems. One thing that's always common is that BSODs are almost guaranteed during games intro cinematic / videos or in certain game menus i.e Cities Skylines or Civilization V game menus always make my PC crash after a certain amount of time.

    The BSODs can also happen at random while I'm watching a video, reading a PDF or just simply doing anything. It's 15:30 P.M and I already had two BSOD, one while reading a PDF and other while I was playing a game. Sometimes the screen glitches for a few seconds, with some horizontal bars twitching across the screen. Sometimes the graphical glitches persist even during the BSOD.

    Every time I get a crash, after the PC finishes gathering crash data and it reboots, it sends me to Windows Repair, and it never fixes anything. Many times it says it's a Kernel error and that I should repair Windows with an external copy. If I force shutdown keeping the power button on, It starts without problems.

    I have several dumps in the minidump folder, and using WhoCrashed gives me this:

    7 different BSoD

    Hey guys,

    I have a serious problem. I make it as short as possible:

    • system runs 100 % fine with the 10.12
    • updatet to Catalyst 11.1 -> BSoD
    • updatet to 11.1 Hotfix -> BSoD
    • rollback to 10.12 -> BSoD
    • removed ALL AMD files manually, installed 10.12 -> BSoD
    • Temps are fine
    • no sfc /scannow errors
    • no chkdsk errors
    • Prime, Furmark all fine
    • regardless what driver I install -> BSoD
    • I did no hw changes, no OC
    Here are my BSoDs I receive:
    • 0x0000010e
    • 0x1000007e
    • 0x0000007e
    • 0x0000004e
    • 0x0000003b
    • dxgmms1.sys
    • PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
    They all refer to the GPU of course ...

    From now on I receive a BSoD every time I try to play a game (especially BC2 and SC II) even if I completely remove the old driver and make a clean install.
    Apparently the 11.1 damaged my system irreparable.

    Any advice or info would be very much appreciated *Smile Constant BSOD with different error messages even after doing a System Reset :)

    Constant BSOD with different error messages even after doing a System Reset

    KernelBase.dll is broken constant BSOD's constant game crashing.

    Hi Darry,

    User Profile corruption is one of the possible reasons why you are experiencing constant BSOD's on your computer. You mentioned that you ran the
    System File Checker (SFC) tool, but is still getting a stop code. To further troubleshoot the issue, we suggest that you create a new User Profile and check if the issue persists.

    To create a user profile, follow these steps:

    • Go to Settings. Click Accounts.
    • Select Family & other people.
    • Select the Add someone else to this PC tab.
    • Name the user as Test.
    • Leave the password field blank.
    • Hit Next.
    • Sign in as Test user.
