Windows 10: constant error KB5000842

Cumulative Update I have tried everything listed here and nothing helps. I am truly beginning to wonder if Windows 10 was a complete mistake. Has anyone found anything that truly works in loading these programs?

Constant script errors and slow loading pages in 10 internet explorer 11

I have done the steps listed above. They have not helped and I am still getting constant script errors, along with slow loading pages. Are there any other suggestions?

KB5000842 keeps failing with error code 0x8007000d

I'm on Windows 10 Pro 20H2 19042.868 and for the last couple of days, I've seen KB5000842 available for download and install but it keeps failing as seen below





I've tried running the Windows Update troubleshooter as well as sfc /scannow to no avail.

Anyone else seen this and found out how to fix it?
