Windows 10: Constant Event Viewer Application Error

See screenshot here. This seems to be happening 24/7 very frequently.

It may due to to some bloat I disabled, but could be anything afaik.

Error while updating status to SECURITY_PRODUCT_STATE_OFF (error 02000000).

I have the same issue as well. My event viewer was getting polluted with multitudes of these errors every 5 - 6 milliseconds starting at 10:40AM this morning until 12:29PM this afternoon. So, almost 2 hours of constant errors in my application event viewer.
I am running Windows 10 Home using Ad-Aware free. At one point I had McAfee, then Avast free and one other I cannot recall. I am not sure McAfee is completely gone as it buries its tentacles deep into the system/registry.

 

File explorer crashes/restarts with right click

Can you check the Event Viewer for the error:

Start > type event viewer then click on "Event Viewer Desktop app" > expand "Custom Views" > "Administrative Events"

Look through the "Administrative Events" for Application Errors involving explorer.exe

Double-click on each event for more details.

 

I believe that this error is associated with an antivirus package. If you are using something other than Windows Defender please try updating it or removing it temporarily to see if it makes a difference.
