Windows 10: Constant PC crashes Win 10, mainly during sleep mode

Please Help

When I try to open my PC from sleep mode it has to reboot from scratch rather than just wake up. It has stopped due to Kernel Power fault.

This is a screen shot of a typical crash event log. I have changed my RAM, graphics card, hard drive and PSU and still cannot pin point the fault. Any help would make my life easier. I can supply more detail if needed. If I need to set up a proper dump file can someone please explain how I do this properly.

Constant Crashing & Sleep Wake Issues

First Problem: about 80% of the time, my laptop won't wake up from sleep mode via keyboard press or mouse move/click. I seem to be missing many common features in power plan too, even after fresh Windows 10 install.
Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Reinstalled Windows 10 (clean)
2. Updated all drivers
3. Replicated on multiple Windows 10 versions, updates
4. BIOS latest version
5. No USB devices attached, ever. Only USB-C power and bluetooth mouse
6. Disabled "fast startup" in control panel

Second Problem:constantly crashing, blue screen of death.

Win 10 Backups & Sleep Mode

Hi Ruth,

I should clarify the reason the backup was cancelled.

The actual message was... "Backup was cancelled by User", and I am quite sure that it was because the PC entered Sleep Mode.

The Win 10 backup is being stored on an external 2Tb USB drive.

So to put my questions again...

• If I schedule a weekly backup, and the PC is in Sleep mode at the appointed time, will the PC wake up to allow the backup to run?
• Can Sleep Mode be prevented whilst a Backup is running?
