constant user "SYSTEM" has previously initiated install Office 2010

Hello everyone! every time I try to install anything.....I mean anything, I get an annoying error that says:

User "SYSTEM" has previously initiated an install for product "Microsoft Office Office 64-bit components 2010". That user will need to run that install again before they can use that product. your current install will now continue.

Then I tell it "OK" and it gives me another error saying:

Previous install will have to be rolled back

I tell it OK and it goes about it's merry way. I don't get what the issue is at all! Office 2010 has been installed for the better part of a year and it works just fine.

Any thoughts on what I can do to get rid of this complete annoyance? Let me know if you need any logs or anything...

  2. Why I can't activesync my outlook mail & contact to Windows Mobile device?

Hello. You are not using the "click to run" version of Outlook (Office 2010) are you? That version has the Outlook installed on the web and not locally on the PC. So in that case Outlook is not really "installed". But you initially said Office 2010 was
installed as 32-bit so that should work. Now that you know where your .pst file is, please save a copy somewhere on your computer for a backup. I would next try to repair your .pst file. Search for scanpst.exe on your system and run that.

  3. Need to sync a Windows Mobile 6.1 phone to Outlook 2010 on Windows 7

Hello. This is confusing me. Outlook is part of the Office Suite and can't be uninstalled/reinstalled separately from Office. Outlook is available as a standalone product. I initially thought that you bought the standalone Outlook program.
