  1. Context Menu is slow and irritating.

Hello, I am Aryesh and I have a problem with my windows 10 context menu. Right click context menu actually. When I right click a folder or a notepad document, app shortcut, etc. There is a little busy cursor for some time and then the context menu appears. Any suggestions? I saw some tutorials they said to go to a location in the registry and delete some keys. But, to leave two keys New and Work Folders. I can't find the 'New' key over there.

    I own an HP Laptop

    Specs:

    Intel Core i3 8th gen

    4GB ram

    intel hd graphics

    Any help is much appreciated.

    :)

  2. Custom context menu entries

So, just throwing this out there, in case somone knows.

I have added a custom context menu entry for the program rightload, since by default the menu is broken in vistax64.

It works pefect with single files, but when I select mutiple files and try to open, I get mutiple instances of the program (which makes sense), here is my entry:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Rightload\Rightload.exe --server=1 --autostart %1

So the %1 passes the filename to the program, and when I select multiple files it is just opening multiple instances of rightload each with a different file.

What I'd like to do is be able to pass a list of the files selected to the program. Since I know it is capable of uploading multiple files from the context menu, all in one instance.

So, is there something I can pass besides %1 that will do this? I have looked around and can't seem to find an answer anywhere... *Frown Context Menu is slow and irritating. :(

    Context Menu Very, Very Slow

Please confirm you used Autoruns to disable context menu entries...

Context Menu is slow and irritating. [IMG]

    - note second to last on folders e.g.

The next to try is the venerable Contextedit:

    - note the two Folder entries further down on the left too.

However your comments suggest there may be something deeper.
