Windows 10: Continually getting error codes 0x8007000d and 0x80073712 on Windows Update

Hi,


On doing updates I get one or both of the error codes for the following updates:

• 2020-05 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64 KB4552931 -Error 0x80073712
• 2020-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64-based Systems KB4556799 -Error 0x8007000d

I also get error 0x8007000d when trying to reinstall .NET 4.8, however I think that it's trying to install that update.


So far I have tried a clean install of Windows 10, manually installing the updates from the update catalog, and the solution at the end of page 1 on this post: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...r/ca557fa9-00ea-4354-ae4f-fc8514e39c97?page=1


Mostly I have been able to continue with these issues but now it seems the May Feature update, as well as some games have updated to the point where these updates are listed as specific fixes.


Any further solutions would be appreciated.

Error code: (0x80073712)

I am not able to connect the i phone with PC (dell windows 10 64bit) due following update error Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x80073712)

I tried with following options but still problem update is due

Step 1: Use System File Checker to repair damaged Windows files

Step 2: Run the DISM tool

Please suggest me how to solve this issuse

 

KB4284848 fails with Error Code 0x80073712

I have attempted to install KB4284848 several times but continue to get error code 0x80073712.

Reading through some of the community posts, I ran WuReset 2.0 for windows 10, as the administrator, and the KB continued to fail installation.

Other suggestions?
