Windows 10: control panel>apps&features>uninstall

A web site "Taste of Home, recipe finder" appears in my apps and features and does not uninstall. When uninstall is selected a message appears "wait until current uninstall is completed". I began trying to uninstall this app/site two weeks and nothing but that same message occurs. Nothing gets uninstalled. The same is true in the Settings> Default Features> uninstall page. nothing at all happens.


When 'show details' is selected information about Microsoft Edge appears. "Taste of Home is listed in documents in File Explorer and there too it will not uninstall.


I suspect somehow the name "Taste of Home" got mixed up somehow with one of the many reinstallations of Microsoft Edge I had to perform in June - August or whatever the time was that it was automatically installed by Microsoft on this PC without my authorization.


I need advice on how to remove then reinstall a completely new, clean Edge Chromium because I believe it has never been installed correctly.



And once again, each day and time this PC is opened it does so in many, many various display sizes and text views although not any display/size/text settings have been changed for several years, even purchase of this PC 3 years ago

Uninstalled App Still Shown in Control Panel's Uninstaller Feature

Hi, I am having trouble with something in my computer. Years ago, I had deleted a program using the standard Delete method. In my Control Panel, the app name is still there, but when I try to uninstall it, it just says that it didn't find the needed program
to uninstall it. It is really annoying and I want the app gone from the list. What do I do?

Turboyourpc is not listed when I try to use the control panel to uninstall programmes.

It is listed in all apps but right button click and selecting uninstall does not seem to work.

Any advice gratefully received

 

Programs Missing From Control Panel List

The "Control Panel uninstall list" is called Programs and Features. It only lists the programs you, the user, have installed personally.
The apps that come with Windows 10 are not included in Programs and Features.
Some of those apps can be uninstalled by right clicking at them > click Uninstall.
Some you cannot uninstall without special way. If you have some of those, please post back with the names.
And then there are some you just can NOT uninstall.
