  1. Cookies problem after Oct 10, 2018 update

I understand the Oct 10th update supposedly fixed a 3rd party cookie problem in that when blocking these cookies was enabled, it did not block all of them. So a fix was implemented. Now however, my bill pay site of my financial institution no longer works unless I enable ALL cookies. This defeats the security feature of blocking ONLY 3rd party cookies. However if I use IE instead of Edge, it works fine. Because...IE offers an option to Allow Session Cookies while blocking third party cookies. I have sent a suggestion to MS through the feedback hub that this option needs to be made available in Edge.

The thing is, before the update I had third party blocking enabled and could access my bill pay website without problem. I understand that there were some 3P cookies that still got stored and I cleared these using software monthly. I was happy to see the notice that popped up after the Oct 10th update. Finally, MS fixed the problem. This was quickly followed by, but now they created another!

I know I am going to get a lot of "use a different browser" or "that is MS for you" comments. But I am not looking for sympathy or complaints. I am looking for people that will go to the Feedback Hub and suggest that "Per session Cookies" option be added to Edge cookies settings.

    Thank you all!

    :)

  3. windows 10 updates-March 2018

I have March updates that will not install. The automatic updates for 2018-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 version 1709 for x64 based system (March KB4088776) were activated and downloaded to my computer, but they will not install on shutdown/restart.
When I check for updates, it shows that the updates are downloaded, but when I click to uninstall, there is not a date for installation. I have researched the Windows suggestions for this problem. They tell me to remove the January 2018 updates (January
KB4056892) and then reinstall the March update. When I attempted to uninstall the January update, I could see the update listed in the check for downloads screen, but when I click uninstall, the January update has a different reference number. Please advise.
I have talked to my technology department and they can't determine next steps either. VERY FRUSTRATING. I need my computer for work.
