Windows 10: Cool n Quiet driver issue

I clean installed Windows 10 for the first time in March 2021. I'm using a 10 years old motherboard with Windows 10 Pro 20H2 32-bit. I was previously on Windows 7 Pro SP1 32-bit. There is a warning icon on the computer device in Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers because I can't install the Cool'n'Quiet driver since the AsusSetup.exe executable doesn't support Windows 10. I think you have 2 options
a. forget the feature and ignore/disable it
b. seek comment on an ASUS forum.

Esssentially where you upgrade to Win 10 with unsupported hardware, the responsibility vests with you to resolve issues.
As for tenforums, you'll only get really useful comment if someone here has had experience with exactly that kind of feature. There's no guarantee whatsoever that an older driver will work in a Win 10 environment, so without other information, it's trial and error.

If you still have a working Win 7 environment you can back up the driver and then try reinstalling it.
