    Hello Jeff,

    When "Show Copilot" on toolbar in Microsoft Edge is turned off, the "Automatically open CoPilot in the Sidebar" setting gets disabled and grayed out.

    If you wanted to completely disable and remove Copilot in Windows, then you can use the method in the tutorial below.

    I've found answers online that have had no effect in preventing the annoying behavior of the Copilot Sidebar popping up.
    Registry changes, settings changed....?

    Edge has a setting, "Automatically open CoPilot in the Sidebar", but the button is disabled? This behavior happens in Chrome too?

    None of the methods to disable Copilot work, can't even hide it
